Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of fast boat operators have temporarily ceased their operations.

On this page you will find which operators are currently operating, sailing schedules, and health requirements by operator and destination. Before you search and book a ticket we highly suggest to first check out this page to find out on which days your preferred fast boat operator is running ferry trips to your destination, so you can pick the correct days/dates for your trip.

Health Protocol

Is a rapid test required?
Visiting the Nusa Islands (Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan) does NOT require any test.

Bali to the Gili Islands and Lombok:

Health Protocol for Passenger:

  1. Show ID card
  2. Wear face mask or mask
  3. Adhere to physical distancing measure
  4. Show the PCR test result confirming Non-reactive for Covid-19 which is valid for 3x24 hours for the passenger who hasn’t been vaccinated yet or only has the first vaccine Certificate.
  5. Show the Antigen Rapid test result confirming Non-reactive for Covid-19 which is valid for 1x24 hours for the passenger who has 2nd  vaccine Certificate.
  6. Passengers who already have a 3rd vaccine Certificate (Booster Vaccine) don’t need Test Antigen or PCR again.
  7. Showing The Vaccine Certificate by using Peduli Lindungi App
  8. Bring hand sanitizer or wash hands

 

The Gili islands and Lombok to Bali
Same as above. 

Is an antigen rapid test available at the port?
A rapid test can be done at the port of Padang Bai upon check-in with an extra cost of around IDR 100.000. It takes approx 15-20 minutes. So make sure you arrive a bit earlier to avoid missing your boat.

Do children need a test?
Infants from 0 to 3 years old do not need to take a test. Rapid test is required for children from the age above 3 years old.

General health protocol
Wearing a mask is mandatory for all ferry trips. For more information on the health protocol and requirements in place by each destination, please see below:

Available Sailing Routes

During the pandemic, a lot of fast boat companies have been forced to stop operations and limit their sailing routes. Below you find which routes are already available. We expect more routes to become available within the next few months once more people start to visit Bali again.

Bali to the Gilis: Operational
Bali to Nusa islands: Operational
Nusa Penida to the Gili's (and vice versa): Not-Operational
Amed to the Gili's: Not operational

Currently, all departures from Bali to the Gili islands depart from Padang Bai harbor.

Hotel Shuttle Service

Same as above, many fast boat companies have temporarily suspended their free hotel shuttle service until further notice. Please check the hotel shuttle service information when searching for your ticket by clicking on the 'ticket details' link and then clicking on the 'Hotel Shuttle Service' tab for more information. 

In case your operator is offering any form of shuttle service, you can request this after booking your ticket by sending us a message by email or WhatsApp together with your booking number and hotel address.
