Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic a lot of fast boat operators have temporarily ceased their operations.

On this page you will find which operators are currently operating, sailing schedules and health requirements by operator and destination. Before you search and book a ticket we highly suggest to first check out this page to find out on which days your preferred fast boat / ferry operator is running ferry trips to your destination, so you can pick the correct days / dates for your trip.

Is a rapid test required?

Visiting the Nusa Islands (Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan) does NOT require any test.

 

Bali to the Gili Islands and Lombok

Visiting the Gili Islands and Lombok from Bali DO require an antigen (not older than 24 hours) or pcr test (not older than 2x24 hours) and vaccination certificate.

The Gili islands and Lombok to Bali

Same as above and proof of vaccination (atleast 1st dose). 

Is an antigen rapid test available at the port?

A rapid test can be done at the port of Padang Bai upon check-in with an extra cost of around IDR 180.000. It takes approx 15-20 minutes. So make sure you arrive a bit earlier to avoid missing your boat.

Do children need a test?

Infants from 0 to 3 years old do not need to take a test. Rapid test is required for children from the age above 3 years old.

Wearing a mask is mandatory for all ferry trips. For more information on the health protocol and requirements in place by each destination, please see below:

Ferry from Bali to the Gili Islands and Lombok

For all passengers passing through Padang Bai port there will be a 10,000 IDR retribution fee to be paid to the local government of Padang Bai. 

Bali Eka Jaya

Bali Eka Jaya currently operates 1 daily sailing from Padang Bai to Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Bangsal (Lombok) and back to Padang Bai on:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Health requirements:
Each passenger is required to show proof of vaccination (for trips to the Gili's and Lombok), valid identification, wear a mask and show a negative COVID-19 antigen test result not older than 24 hours for antigen tests and 2x24 hours for PCR tests. Rapid or PCR test are both accepted. Rapid test can also be done at Padang Bai port (cost: IDR 180.000).
